FFU currently has active affiliate relationships with: Airalo (eSIMs, via ref.airalo.com), KiwiTaxi (airport transfers), World Nomads (travel insurance), Booking.com (hotels), and Viator (tours and experiences). We are evaluating partnerships with SafetyWing, Welcome Pickups, and Discover Cars; until those are confirmed, links to those services on /plan-trip/ are not affiliate-tracked.

Editorial independence

Affiliate revenue does not influence which destinations we cover, what we say about them, or whether we recommend them. We routinely recommend services that pay us nothing. We will tell you when something is bad even if linking to it would have paid us.

Recommended services

The booking buttons on /plan-trip/ reflect what we’d use ourselves: Booking.com for hotels because of the cancellation flexibility, World Nomads for short-term insurance, SafetyWing for nomad-style long-term insurance, Airalo for eSIMs, KiwiTaxi for airport transfers, Welcome Pickups for arrival hand-holding when needed, and Viator for guided experiences.
